Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are two of the most spectacular national parks in North America and perhaps in the world.  If you have ever wondered where the phrase, “Purple Mountains Majesty” comes from, you will know as soon as you arrive in Grand Teton National Park. 

Because the parks are so fabulous, they attract large numbers of people.  Annually more than six million people visit these two parks and pass through the tiny town of Jackson Hole, which although it is Wyoming’s 10th largest city, has a full-time population of only 9,200 people.  The bulk of the national park visitors come to Wyoming during the summer months.
